KAMS RTO is committed to providing high quality Vocational Education and Training (VET) in the Kimberley region.

KAMS RTO training programs are specifically tailored for delivery to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people in the Kimberley region of WA.

KAMS has been involved in training since 1983, when the first cohort of Aboriginal Health Workers graduated in Broome. The RTO was first established to offer a local option to study Aboriginal Health Work without having to relocate to Perth.

Certificate II in Community Health and Wellbeing (Course 52890WA - Release 2)

The course provides you with entry level, industry specific skills and knowledge to help you get into further study within the Community Services or Health sectors at the Certificate III level, or to gain employment in the Community Services or Health Sector.

Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice (Course HLT40221 - Release 1)

This qualification reflects the role of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people working to provide a range of clinical primary health care services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients and communities, including specific health care programs, advice and assistance with, and administration of, medication.

This qualification reflects the role of workers who provide self-directed recovery oriented support for people affected by mental illness and psychiatric disability.
