Our Mission
To improve and promote the health and well-being of Aboriginal people in the Kimberley through the application of practical community and health service based primary health care research
Our Aim is to conduct high quality research that
- Applies research findings to improve the health of, and improve health services for, Aboriginal people in the Kimberley
- Provides evidence based best practice models of health care for Aboriginal people
- Documents and helps to improve the impact of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) on health outcomes
- Develops strong, productive and enduring research partnerships that empower communities and health services to ask and answer their own research questions, and provide important evidence to inform future health care provision and policy development
