Webinar: Practice skills of working with children who have experienced trauma

Register now to attend this professional development webinar on Thursday 19 November 2020, 4.15 PM – 5.30 PM.

Trauma presentations in children are challenging for many professionals, often because the child is reluctant to receive professional care. It is imperative that a child is helped to feel comfortable and safe through the process. In this webinar, therapeutic theories of trauma care for children will underpin the panel’s discussion as they illustrate some of the challenges they have experienced in this area and the specific skills required to overcome these challenges.

This webinar features an interdisciplinary panel of subject matter experts including Kate Headley (Speech Pathologist), Dr Jacqueline Amos (Psychiatrist), Chris Dolman (Social Worker) and will be facilitated by Dr Daniel Moss  (Workforce Development Manager, Emerging Minds).

Before the webinar, you can learn about our panel or read the case study upon which the discussion will be based.
