Suicide Postvention Skills Training – Kununurra

This training will be beneficial to those who work closely within their community supporting those who may be bereaved or impacted by suicide.

The purpose of course is to increase the understanding of suicide bereavement and learn basic support skills.

The topics covered are: 

• * The Kimberley Postvention Service Model
• * Crisis, trauma and grief
• * What makes suicide different from other sudden death
• * Support approaches and best practices
• * Self-care
