Narrative Therapy – Level 1 Training Course – Broome

This is a Level 1 training overview that runs over a 5-day workshop, this workshop is designed for those who are relatively new to narrative ways of working or for those who have had some exposure to the ideas and would like the opportunity to engage with narrative practices more rigorously.

This course will cover the following key narrative ideas and practices:

Externalising conversations: The person is not the problem, the problem is the problem

Re-authoring conversations: Telling our stories in ways that make us stronger

Outsider-witness practices: Linking lives and the use of audiences

Re-membering conversations: Considering the memberships of our lives

▪ Listening for alternative storylines

Documenting change: The use of letters and certificates

▪ The Tree of Life narrative approach

 

 

Loacation: SSJG Heritage Centre Broome, 9 Barker St, Broome WA 6725, Australia

Catering:  A simple morning tea will be available

Cost: Early bird rate (paid before 30 June, 2021): $975. After 30 June, the cost is $1,285 per person.
