Engaging Fathers and their Children – Webinar
Engaging fathers and their children
Register now for the above webinar which will explore practices that make it possible for fathers to discuss their children’s social and emotional wellbeing with health professionals. Through a facilitated panel discussion this webinar will cover service design, assessment protocols, and practitioner attitudes and competencies that can encourage a father’s participation in services. It will also describe ways of talking to fathers about their hopes and concerns for children, as well as identifying ways of supporting fathers when they are engaging in behaviours that could negatively influence their child’s mental health.
The webinar will feature a facilitated discussion of an interdisciplinary panel of subject matter experts: Dr Bruce Robinson, AM (Physician, WA), John Clark (Emerging Minds Child and Family Partner, Tas), Dom Alford (Social Worker, VIC ) and will be facilitated by Dr Dan Moss (Emerging Minds Workforce Development Manager, SA).
